Our process explained
We aim to make the process of boiler installation as seamless and pain free as possible. Outlined below is a detailed guide so you know what to expect.

Assessment
A Gas Safe engineer assesses your current system, recommends the right boiler type and output, checks key factors like flue position, gas supply, and water pressure, then provides a quote and helps you choose a suitable model from trusted brands such as Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, or Ideal.

Pre-Installation Preparation
Once booked, the installation date is confirmed, the new boiler and components are ordered, and Building Control is notified—either directly or through the Gas Safe registration process.

Removal of the old boiler
The engineer safely drains the heating system, removes the old boiler, and caps or repurposes the existing flue, gas, and water connections as needed.

Installation of new boiler
The engineer connects the gas supply (pressure-tested), water inlet and outlet pipes, condensate pipe to a drain, and installs the flue to regulations. A magnetic or system filter is added, and a new thermostat and controls smart, wireless, or programmable are fitted for optimal performance.

System Cleaning
Radiators and pipes are cleaned to remove sludge and debris using a chemical or power flush (depending on the system’s condition) -helping to improve efficiency and extend the boiler’s lifespan.

Commisioning the boiler
The heating system is filled and pressurised to 1.0–1.5 bar. The engineer runs the boiler and tests all key functions, including gas rate, combustion levels, and control settings. Radiators are balanced and the system is checked thoroughly for leaks to ensure optimal and safe performance.
