Our process

1. Planning & Design
Start by confirming your bathroom layout, checking pipe routes and ventilation. Choose key fixtures such as toilets, basins, showers, and taps. If you’re using tradespeople, get quotes early. Make sure all plans comply with UK Building and Water Regulations.

2. First Fix Plumbing & Electrics
With walls and floors still open, cap off old supplies and run new pipework for hot/cold water, waste, and soil. Install cabling for lighting, extractor fans, mirrors, and heating. All electrical work must be completed or certified by a Part P registered electrician.

3. Wall, Floor & Ceiling Prep
Prepare the subfloor with marine ply or tile backer board for strength. Use moisture-resistant boards on walls, and apply tanking membranes in wet zones. Finish the ceiling if needed, creating a solid base for tiling and decoration.

4. Tiling & Flooring
Start with wall tiling — especially around showers or baths — then move on to the floor. Allow time for proper setting and drying before moving to the next stage to avoid future issues.

5. Painting
Paint ceilings and any untiled walls using mould-resistant, bathroom-grade paint. This helps protect against humidity and ensures long-term durability.

6. Second Fix Plumbing
Install the bath, toilet, basin, and shower. Connect all fixtures to the water and waste lines and seal joints with sanitary silicone to prevent leaks.

7. Second Fix Electrics
Fit lights, extractor fans, shaver sockets, and other electric elements. Finalise heating connections and carry out testing. Certification under Part P ensures the work meets UK safety standards.

8. Final Touches
Add accessories like towel rails and mirrors, then clean and polish all surfaces. Finally, check for any leaks or issues, ensuring the bathroom is fully functional and finished to a high standard.

9. Handover & Documentation
Give all certificates, warranties, and care guides. Walk through the bathroom, explain key features, and confirm everything’s working properly.
